The La Vernia City Council at the Regular City Council Meeting held on April 9, 2009 adopted Ordinance No. 040909-01, an ordinance of the City of La Vernia, Texas regulating solicitation activities; outdoor retail sales; providing for registration of solicitors; providing for a revocation or suspension process; providing for an appeals process; providing for regulation of distribution of handbills; providing a severability clause; providing a penalty; providing a repealing clause; and establishing an effective date.  This Ordinance shall be commonly referred to as the City’s “Solicitors Ordinance.”
