On April 29, 2010 at Special City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 042910-01 an ordinance of the City of La Vernia, Texas regulating presence of children in public places at night inside the corporate limits of the city, containing certain definitions and regulations, establishing an enforcement procedure and providing penalties.
