On July 8, 2010 at the Regular City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 070810-01 establishing a fee schedule for Court costs, fees, fines, and services charges that are paid by credit card.  The fees are as follows: $5.00 for any Court cost, fee, fine, and/or service charged paid by credit card.

On August 12, 2010 at the Regular City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 081210-02 an ordinance of the City of
La Vernia, Texas amending Ordinance No. 091307-02 Flood Damage Prevention.  This amendment Establishes the Areas of Special Flood Hazard identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in the current scientific and engineering report entitled, “The Flood Insurance Study for Wilson County, Texas and Incorporated Areas,” dated November 26, 2010, with accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Boundary-Floodway Maps (FIRM and FBFM) dated November 26, 2010 and any revisions thereto are hereby adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this ordinance; providing a penalty clause; providing severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

On August 12, 2010 at the Regular City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 081210-01 an ordinance of the City of
La Vernia, Texas declaring it unlawful for any vehicle to turn left onto US Hwy 87 West from the southeast driveway adjacent to the fuel center at the retail shopping center located at 14414 US Hwy 87 West; providing a penalty clause; providing severability clause; and establishing an effective date.

On July 8, 2010 at the Regular City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas the City Council adopted Resolution No. R070810-01 establishing the fee schedule for Food License Permits.  The fees are as follows:

Food licenses are issued annually (January 1 to December 31) and include quarterly inspections. 

License fee:  $90.00 ($75.00 Inspection Fee and $15.00 Administrative Fee)

On March 11, 2010 at the Regular City Council Meeting of the City of La Vernia, Texas, the City Council adopted Resolution No 031110-01, amending Resolution No. 111308-03 regarding the fee schedule for grease traps and sand/grit traps.  The fees are as follows:

Grease Trap/Interceptor Permit With Plan Review:  $75.00

Biennial Renewal of Grease Trap/Interceptor Permit:  $35.00

Sand/Grit Trap Permit With Plan Review:  $75.00

Biennial Renewal of Sand/Grit Trap Permit:  $35.00
